Brave Combat Federation has announced that Ahmed Amir from Egypt will return to action at Brave 17 to face New Zealand’s John Brewin. Amir previously competed at Brave 11 in Brazil, when he lost to Cleiton “Predator”. Meanwhile, Brewin overpowered Hardeep Rai at Brave 12 hosted in Jakarta, Indonesia beating the former IMMAF medalist by TKO in the second round. Brewin has developed a victorious amateur career before transitioning to pro-MMA where he won all of his three bouts to date.
Amir will be returning to Brave Combat Federation after his first promotional loss which also snapped his seven-fight winning streak in the past five years. Currently with a professional record of 8-2-0, Amir will focus on bouncing back by training at the KHK MMA Fight Team. He is currently trained under KHK MMA Head Coach, Eldar Eldarov with teammates including Hamza Kooheji, Hussain Ayyad, Gamzat Magomedov and more.

Training has been amazing and there are significant changes in my wrestling and striking which I am waiting to showcase in the upcoming event. I am not focused on my opponent but to bring the best Ahmed Amir imaginable to the cage and to give a fight to remember and bring a win for KHK MMA Bahrain”, said Ahmed Amir.
Brave 17 will mark the first time a global MMA event lands in Pakistan. The fight night will be headlined by a welterweight bout between top contenders Rodrigo Cavalheiro and Abdoul Abdouraguimov, while the co-main event features the return of Jeremy Pacatiw, as he welcomes local hero Uloomi “Somchai” to the Brave cage in a bantamweight duel for the ages.
